Learning new vocabulary is essential to a child’s reading success now and in the future. The more words our kids know the easier time they have reading new and more challenging material. It’s just one less barrier in their way. And, exposing kids to new vocabulary is as easy as printing out and hanging up some word cards like these Christmas vocabulary cards.

These seasonal words are fun and festive, but they also provide exposure to new words in the context of the coming Christmas holiday.
